Project Overview
The WAWA Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project is a national benchmark renewable energy project in the Philippines and one of NSD Electric’s key overseas pumped-storage references in Southeast Asia.
NSD Electric supplied 4 sets of MGC6000 pumped-storage governor systems, 4 sets of IAEC4000 fully digital excitation systems, and the full LDS-200 auxiliary monitoring and control platform. The scope also covered overseas site commissioning, technical training, and field support.
The project demonstrates strong adaptability to overseas grid conditions and humid tropical environments while helping meet local peak-shaving and energy-storage needs.
