1993
First-Generation MEC-21B3 Excitation System
The first-generation MEC-21B3 excitation system entered commercial operation at Gezhouba Power Plant, laying the foundation for NSD’s excitation product development.
2002
MEC-2000 for Small and Medium-Sized Units
NSD’s independently developed MEC-2000 excitation system was put into commercial operation for small and medium-sized generating units.
2003
IAEC-2000 Intelligent Adaptive Excitation System
The IAEC-2000 intelligent adaptive excitation system and STR-1600RG heat-pipe power cabinet were applied on Unit 19, pioneering large-generator excitation applications.
2010
STR-2500RG Heat-Pipe Power Cabinet Tested by ABB
The STR-2500RG heat-pipe power cabinet passed ABB testing in Switzerland, reaching a long-term current rating of 2,576 A.
2012
Application on Three Gorges 700 MW Unit
The IAEC-2000 regulator with STR-2500RG power cabinet was successfully applied to a 700 MW unit at Three Gorges Power Plant.
