The GSQ Overspeed Limiter is a safety protection device for hydro-generator units that prevents overspeed when unit speed exceeds the specified limit and the governor system fails. It shifts the valve spool under differential pressure, bypassing the governor to directly actuate the servomotor, enabling emergency guide vane closure. The device features a main valve body with throttle speed-regulating auxiliary valve, offering easy and reliable throttle adjustment, compact installation, smooth low-noise operation, and a long service life. Its standardized design supports optional oil-in or oil-release shutdown modes, ensuring flexible and safe operation.
