Overview

The MGC-6000 Series Governor is designed for the full range of pumped-storage reversible units, providing fast and reliable control for generation, pumping, phase modulation, standby, and transition operating modes. With a fully cross-redundant dual-controller architecture, TCP/IP communication, and independent power supplies, the system ensures high reliability, stability, and operational safety under complex pumped-storage conditions.

The system supports single or double regulation for medium, large, and extra-large governor applications. Key configurations include dual electro-hydraulic redundant converters, motor plus proportional valve or dual proportional valve control, and integrated or separate electrical-mechanical cabinet designs. Its simple structure, convenient maintenance, reliable operation, and low-noise performance make it suitable for demanding pumped-storage power plant applications.
