Overview
The IAEC-4000 is a fully digital microcomputer-based excitation system developed by NSD Electric for 10 MW–600 MW generator units. With separate regulation, power, and de-excitation cabinets, it adopts a standardized modular design and supports flexible heat-pipe or forced-air cooling configurations for medium and large hydropower and thermal power plants.

1. 32-bit multi-core high-speed processor up to 600 MHz
2. 15-inch industrial panel PC with Chinese/English interface
3. Control modules mounted on 35 mm standard DIN rails, offering strong shock resistance, vibration resistance, and heat dissipation
4. IEC 61131-3 compliant graphical programming supporting FBD, LD, IL, ST, SFC, and C language
5. Strong anti-interference capability, software fault tolerance, and self-diagnosis functions
6. Supports multiple fieldbus protocols with built-in IEC 61850 communication protocol
7. Optional wired or wireless remote real-time diagnosis and maintenance
