Project Overview
Nam Ngiep 2 Hydropower Station is a large clean-energy hydropower project in Laos, supporting both local electricity demand and cross-border power transmission.
NSD Electric supplied 3 sets of MGC4000 governor systems, 3 sets of IAEC4000 fully digital excitation systems, and the full LDS-200 intelligent monitoring and auxiliary control package. The scope included equipment supply, installation and commissioning, grid-connection testing, and long-term overseas technical support.
The project demonstrates strong environmental adaptability, high control accuracy, and reliable long-term operation for a remote overseas hydropower plant.
