Project Overview
Zhejiang Songyang Pumped Storage Power Station is a key project in China’s Fourteenth Five-Year Plan, with a total installed capacity of 1,400 MW from four 350 MW units. The station supports peak shaving and energy storage for Zhejiang’s evolving power system.
NSD Electric delivered 4 sets of MGC6000 pumped-storage governor systems, 4 sets of IAEC4000 fully digital excitation systems, and the full LDS-200 plant monitoring system. The scope included product supply, field installation and commissioning, integrated testing, and operation support.
The project features high intelligence, smooth start-stop transitions, and strong adaptability for two-way storage and generation duty cycles.
