From December 23 to 24, 2025, the 2025 Annual Conference on High-Quality Development of Pumped Storage Projects was successfully held in Hangzhou, China. Nengshida Electric Co., Ltd. (“NSD Electric”), as a leading company in the field of hydropower control equipment, was invited to participate in the event.
The conference brought together nearly 800 experts, representatives, and industry professionals from power generation groups, pumped storage enterprises, design institutes, electric power research institutes, engineering organizations, and equipment suppliers. Participants exchanged views on the intelligent innovation and development of pumped storage power station construction, operation, maintenance, and management, contributing to the accelerated development of new-type power systems.
The event was jointly organized by CPEM National Power Equipment Management Network, China Electric Power Technology Market Association, and the Hydropower Professional Committee of Zhejiang Society for Electrical Engineering, with support from the State Key Laboratory of Tunnel Boring Machine and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance.
Focusing on the high-quality development of pumped storage projects, the conference covered the full life cycle of pumped storage power stations, including planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and management. Key topics included material innovation, equipment innovation, intelligent technologies, environmental protection, and sustainable development. The event provided an important platform for building consensus and promoting the efficient, intelligent, and sustainable development of the pumped storage industry under China’s dual-carbon goals.
