An Ethiopian power company delegation recently visited NSD Electric’s headquarters for an on-site technical exchange. The delegation was received by the company’s executive management team and accompanied throughout the visit to review NSD Electric’s manufacturing facilities, product showroom, and technical demonstration areas.
During the visit, NSD Electric’s executive vice general managers presented the company’s core technologies and engineering capabilities, with a focus on governor systems, excitation systems, and power plant automation solutions. A detailed corporate presentation was delivered, introducing NSD Electric’s development history, engineering strengths, and project execution experience in the global power sector.

The visiting delegation toured the company’s showroom and observed a range of products and engineering project references. The display highlighted NSD Electric’s technical capabilities as well as its project delivery record across multiple international markets. According to the company, it has completed more than 50 overseas projects in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Africa, demonstrating its growing presence in global hydropower and energy automation markets.
Throughout the technical discussions, both sides exchanged views on system design approaches, application requirements, and long-term operational performance in hydropower projects. The Ethiopian delegation expressed strong interest in the company’s engineering capability and project experience.

At the same time, feedback from the visiting delegation also pointed out an important observation regarding international visibility. While NSD Electric has established strong technical capabilities and a solid track record in engineering delivery, its global digital presence does not yet fully reflect its technological strength and project achievements.
Historically, NSD Electric has focused primarily on product development, engineering execution, and project delivery, with most communication taking place through direct customer relationships and industry networks. As a result, many of its international achievements have remained known mainly within existing customer circles, particularly in China and selected overseas markets.

With the continued expansion of its international business, NSD Electric recognizes that global accessibility and digital communication have become increasingly important in addition to product reliability and engineering performance. The company stated that it will gradually enhance its international communication strategy by sharing more information on engineering projects, technological developments, and industry insights.
NSD Electric also expressed appreciation for the visit and the constructive feedback provided by the Ethiopian delegation, noting that such exchanges contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and long-term cooperation in the global hydropower and energy sector.
